Colorado Radio for Justice facilitates the creation of media inside prison facilities by incarcerated producers, in collaboration with the Colorado Department of Corrections and other corrections entities.

Our work is guided by a Handbook of Policies, Procedures, and Editorial Guidelines. This handbook was originally developed by Colorado Radio for Justice - then operating as Inside Wire: Colorado Prison Radio - with advisement from Phil Maguire of the Prison Radio Association, and with the UK’s National Prison Radio as an exemplar.
